Biography

Abriana Burruso is 16 years old, a Senior at McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Her passion is truly singing, acting and dance.  She has been in several plays, most recently with Stage Left Productions, playing the lead role of Timon on Once on This Island. 

She is proud to be the 2015 Keiki Hawaii Stars Champion singing her rendition of Minnie Ripperton's "Loving You."  Abriana also sings Japanese and won 1st place for KZOO Karaoke Contest, Junior Division with Misia's, "Aitakute Ima."  She is part of the Brown Bags to Stardom Ohana and sings at carnivals and block parties.

Outside of performing, Abriana loves sports.  She has been taking taekwondo since she was 7 yrs old.  Currently she is working on her 2nd part of her Junior Black Belt at Taekwondo Hawaii.  Other sports she is involved in school are canoe paddling, water polo, and softball. This summer she joined the He'elani Canoe Club.

This year Abriana has taken part in the Miss Hawaii Outstanding Teen pageant promoting her platform, "Bettering the World Through Music" to make a difference in people's lives, especially the "kapunas" (seniors) and the "keikis" (children).  Her most recent pageant was Miss Teen Aloha Islands.

Abriana love's music from all genre's. Not only is she a fabulous vocalist she is also a musician. She excels in keyboard, ukulele, and guitar. Which she incorporates into her show.

Abriana dreams of being an actress performing on Broadway, television and becoming a recording artist as her idol Ariana Grande. She continues to work hard in achieving her goals and making them reality.
